Volunteer Opportunities

Give Back in a Meaningful Way. With Your Time.

From our Crisis Hotline to our Thrift Shoppe, from our case management to our grant writing, from our event teams to our Board of Directors - volunteers are the backbone of the Crisis Center’s mission to serve survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse.

We’re always seeking and welcoming new volunteers and volunteer groups to join CCCC and help expand our ability to serve.

Getting Started

Volunteers serve in every single aspect of our mission and our operations, from our administration to our client services. So whatever your skillset and whatever your time availability looks like, we have an opportunity for you to serve and make a meaningful impact in our community.

Whether you’re volunteering as an individual, a family, a business, a church, or a group of friends, you’ll start by completing a Volunteer Application. That way we have your contact information and we can get in touch to schedule a time to meet.

Questions? Contact Taylor, our Development Coordinator, at (830) 620-7520.

  • Answering the Crisis Hotline (training provided)

  • Victim Advocacy, including Sexual Assault Response (training and certification provided)

  • General Maintenance and Facility Upkeep

  • Life Skills (help our clients learn to cook, sew, and balance a checkbook)

  • Children’s Activities

  • Thrift Shoppe (sort donations, organize the store, arrange products)
