Beauty From Ashes

A Capital Campaign for Survivors

Today, the Crisis Center of Comal County is located on just under four acres on Landa Street. Our current facility, formerly the Comal County Senior Center, is home to the Comal Thrift Shoppe and our training facility.

Next door, our new three-story, 30,000-square foot shelter and service facility brings our direct client services together under one roof. This new space allows us to expand our emergency shelter capacity and incorporate transitional housing, while creating a facility intentionally designed to meet the needs of the women, and children we serve. Together, this campus represents a bold step forward for survivors and families in crisis — offering safety, dignity, healing, and hope in one connected place.

“When donors invest in this shelter, they are not simply helping us complete a building. They are helping create the first safe night, the first deep breath, the first moment of peace, and the first step toward a new future for survivors and their children.”
