Are you up to the challenge?

In Her Heels: Walk a Mile for Her is more than an event — it’s a commitment. A commitment to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to take action to prevent it.

In Comal County, we believe in showing up for one another. This event calls on the men of our community to step forward — to listen, to learn, and to lead. By stepping, even briefly, into her world, we acknowledge the challenges too many women face and make a clear choice not to ignore them.

This isn’t about fashion. It’s about understanding. It’s about respect. And it’s about responsibility. Together, we raise awareness, support the life-saving work of the Crisis Center of Comal County, and take meaningful steps toward a safer future.

Because in our community, we don’t look the other way — and no woman should ever have to walk alone.
