Rebuilding Our Shelter. Rebuilding Lives.
Beauty from Ashes Campaign
After a fire destroyed our shelter facility, we have partnered with our community to build a new shelter facility that will give hope, healing, and safety to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse. Check out our progress and learn more about how you can get involved in our Beauty From Ashes Campaign.
What We Do
Case Management
Our case managers work individually with clients and provide goal-focused services with periodic reassessment.
Legal Advocacy
We can assist in preparing protective orders, affidavits, and police reports; offer escorts to law enforcement and criminal justice offices, and aid in completing crime victim's compensation claims.
Crisis Response
Trained advocates are ready to assist you on our 24/7 hotline with urgent support, information, and referrals related to crisis or trauma services, domestic violence, sexual assault, or homelessness.
Next Step Housing
As shelter residents begin their next phase of healing and success, we offer comprehensive support to secure safe, stable, and sustainable housing.
Counseling
Licensed counselors assist clients in overcoming victimization effects through individual and group counseling. Support groups for adults and children focus on healthy coping skills and relationships.
Emergency Shelter
We provide emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, as well as women facing homelessness. Residents receive comprehensive services and work toward achieving self-sufficiency.
Prevention Education
We are passionate about prevention through education on domestic violence and sexual assault for civic, educational, and church groups.

“The Crisis Center has taken care of me and helped me with counseling, classes, and my medication. Staying here has been life-altering for me. It has given me a new start. People move on from here and get jobs. This Center keeps families together rather than tearing them apart. Some of my friends from the Center have moved on to live in their own place. They are working; they have good jobs, all thanks to the support of the Center. Otherwise, they would be on the street.”
