The Comal Thrift Shoppe: Where Every Purchase Has Purpose
The Comal Thrift Shoppe continues to be the largest fundraiser for the Crisis Center of Comal County, transforming everyday shopping into life-changing support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
From September 2024 through August 2025, the Shoppe generated $283,472.58 in net sales, directly fueling the programs and services that help women and children rebuild their lives.
Even more inspiring, the Shoppe saw over 15,000 transactions this year — a 14.9% increase — meaning more community members than ever are choosing to shop with heart. The overall gross sales grew by 21.3%, reflecting incredible engagement from donors, volunteers, and customers alike.
Behind every sale is a story — of a mom finding her footing, a child sleeping safely, a survivor starting over. Each gently used item donated and each dollar spent extends the Crisis Center’s reach and impact across Comal County.
More Than a Store
The Comal Thrift Shoppe is more than racks and registers — it’s a vital part of our mission. Every shopper, donor, and volunteer helps sustain the shelter, counseling, and advocacy services that bring hope and healing to hundreds of local families each year.
Together, we are proving that generosity truly multiplies — one sale, one smile, one survivor at a time.
